I like your wiring box - it should keep it all nice and dry.

Thanks, couldn't find a proper adaptable box in the right size so had to improvise. The more space for wiring the better - but I still ended up with a second layer to accommodate the relay block.
Have not figured out how to shower proof the back of the instruments yet, but I fired it up and it all worked first time!

N Sensor is in, Clutch sensor is in, speed is pulled off the old Porsche ABS ring and hopefully calibrated, handbrake going in. Throttle cable route is a challenge as there is a battery in the way!

Conformal coating. You can get it in a clear spray, or I have a liquid PVC type in a bottle you put on with a brush.

It air cures so I also use it under heatshrink in joints, etc, so that if the heatshrink gets damaged it flows out and reseals it.

That's a good idea, but I really want something physical over it as well. It is under the bonnet but only just!
Sure I'll figure something out.

Done, bar the wiring conduit and dry weather for a test!

Yep. Goes like stink! Handling and drive-ability sucks though so some things to work on. Unfortunately the biggest issue is the size of the steering wheel that is limited by the front frame position - not easy to change.
